About Us: Sando Masonry is a leading provider of high-quality masonry services. We specialize in tuckpointing, creating mailboxes, fire pits, chimney repair and new builds, brickwork, caulking, spot pointing, waterproofing, and stone foundation repair.

Job Summary: We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks on masonry projects and contribute to the overall success of the team. This is a full-time position requiring availability every weekday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist bricklayers and masons with tasks such as mixing mortar, carrying bricks, and setting up scaffolding.
  • Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction or a similar labor-intensive role is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures in a construction setting.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on masonry projects.
  • Knowledge of masonry materials and techniques.
