DSC Savannah, a leading automotive seat frame manufacturing firm, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Savannah, Georgia. The QC Inspector will be responsible for various tasks within the Quality department, and will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of the quality department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

·       Implementation and management of Quality Management System

·       Perform the company’s part testing & tool calibration

·       Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs

·       Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards

·       Handle test requests and daily testing

·       Conduct product testing and first article and final inspections

·       Determining the causes of product defects and reworks

·       Continuously improve the testing and evaluation process to ensure that it is efficient, effective, and aligned with industry best practices.

·       Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Preferences

·       Knowledge of automotive systems, including frame systems.

·       Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications

·       Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and computers

·       Excellent communication skills

·       Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and excel

·       Great problem definition and problem solution tool application
