About our Bookkeeper Opportunity

  • The Bookkeeper will work on a team of 4 in Accounting and Finance
  • The organization employs roughly 400 individuals
  • The Bookkeeper will be cross trained in Payroll and Accounting Functions
  • Large, renovated office building with 2 monitors at each work station
  • 40 hour work week between the hours of 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Extremely flexible office hours)
  • This is a manufacturing enviornment but candidates will work in a rennovated office setting

Bookkeeper Duties

  • Calculate and process payroll for 400 employees, ensuring accuracy in wages, deductions, and taxes.
  • Maintain detailed records of employee hours, overtime, and other relevant payroll data.
  • Process invoices from vendors and suppliers for services received.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing customers and tracking payments.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Generate financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and manage the annual budget.
  • The Bookkeeper will assist in forecasting future financial performance based on current trends and anticipated changes.
  • Prepare and file relevant tax documents, such as quarterly and annual tax returns.

Bookkeeper Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing industry experience is preferred, utilizing a 3-Way Match
  • 1-3 Years of full cycle AP, or in a similar Bookkeeper position
  • Payroll experience is highly desirable
  • SAP experience is a bonus
