Retail shipping retail store - we are an authorized UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL shipping center, is looking for highly motivated, energetic, and punctual individuals to join our team We offer a fun and lively work environment, competitive pay, and Sundays off. Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required. Applicant must be able to and enjoy working with other people and the general public. Fluent in MS Word, Excel, Adobe preferred. Heavy lifting, packing, sorting mail, making copies & a variety of other office services are involved. The applicant must be able to stand on feet for several hours, lift items 50 lbs. plus, be well spoken, have valid driver's license, own transportation, neat and clean in appearance and be outgoing/friendly. Applicant must also pass a background check upon hiring and random screening thereafter. This is not a seasonal/summer position.
Key Job Elements:
1. Customer Service--Deliver world-class customer service while promoting our brand and services. Utilize resources to solve problems, and answer questions as they are presented. Work to build trust and repeat business with every opportunity.
2. Mailboxes--Receive and distribute parcels to mailbox customers. Educate customers on mailbox options and benefits.
3. Document Services--Operate copiers, printers, scanners, fax machines, and other machines to complete customer requests.
4. Shipping-- Utilize computer UPS, FedEx, DHL and USPS software to present customer with multiple shipping options for delivering parcels to their destinations with varying speed and protections.
5. Packaging-- Following standard packaging guidelines; accurately assess materials necessary for packing jobs and perform at customers' request.6. Opening/Closing Duties-- Execute "Opening" and "Closing" checklists including setting up computer systems for start of day, make bank deposits, running end of day reports, counting cash drawers, and other duties as assigned.
6. Demonstrates consultative behaviors in a retail environment to understand each customer’s individualized need.
7. Ensures all customer problems are resolved quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer and takes complex customer orders using order systems and provides accurate pricing information.
8. Assembles parcels and prepares goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers or boxes, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels
Est. work hour over 20 - 25 hrs. per/wk. Saturdays required
Open from M-F 9:00 am - 6:00 pm,
Sat 9:30 am - 2:00 pm
