We are seeking an experienced customer service professional who will handle customer orders and quotations for our industrial wholesale supply business.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

-Answer telephone and direct to appropriate person or take message

-Handle customer quotes, orders & inquiries; develop strong customer relationships

-Use accounting software to enter orders, run reports, etc.

-Manage PipeDrive database; enter/update data

-Assist outside sales with product information, quotations, expediting and following up with customers

-Assist and back-up warehouse coordinator with shipping & receiving; inventory counts & organization; and other warehouse duties as needed

-Assist and back-up purchasing as needed

Minor Duties and Responsibilities

-Misc. reports

-Cross train with warehouse and purchasing to handle day-to-day administrative duties

Qualifications for Job

-High School Diploma / Business Admin Certificate or Associates Degree in Business or Logistics (preferred)

Experience

-Customer service, 1-3 years

-Inside sales, helpful

-Warehouse/logistics, helpful but not necessary

-Knowledge of databases and accounting software (basic)

-Proficient in MS Office – Word & Excel

Key Competencies

-Great attitude and positive outlook

-Excellent written & oral communication

- Confidence to call customers for follow up on quotes

-Inventory management and organizational skills

-Accurate and careful attention to every detail for orders, shipments, inventory control and invoicing is key to success of this position. Must be self-motivated to follow up and keep customer & internal associates informed.

Physical Requirements

-Lifting packages up to 50 lbs, storing or pulling product, requires lifting & reaching (only required to assist warehouse)

-Shipping packages, handling knife cutter, tape gun etc. (only required to assist warehouse)

-Unpacking and preparing skids for shipment (only required to assist warehouse)
