Job Description:

American Accord Food Corp is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a Billing/Administrative role. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing and administrative tasks, particularly in managing client information and coordinating deliveries. Familiarity with CPT codes and the CMS-1500 form is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Client Entry: Accurately enter new client information into the system.
  • Billing to MCO: Handle billing processes to Managed Care Organizations (MCO).
  • Client Communication: Call clients to confirm and follow up on service requirements.
  • Delivery Coordination: Ensure clients receive proper delivery services.
  • Custom Menus: Call clients to arrange custom menus based on their needs.
  • Delivery Scheduling: Manage and schedule delivery times for each client.
  • Client Eligibility: Verify client eligibility and request necessary documentation for service continuation.
  • Insurance Verification: Confirm the insurance payor information for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare billing and administrative roles.
  • Familiarity with CPT codes and the CMS-1500 form.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using billing software and MS Office Suite.
