About Us: Sundial Real Estate of Mesa, AZ is looking for qualified a Maintenance Technician Contractor to join our growing team. We manage about 1,700 units and we are looking to add some new members to our growing team We have a good mixture of multi-family and single-family homes. You will be responsible for general maintenance as well as turning units to get them rent ready. We are looking for a reliable person who will work Monday through Friday 8-5.

 

Qualifications for the Maintenance Technician:

Minimum 2 years experience as a maintenance technician

Must have experience and general knowledge doing apartment and/or house maintenance

Must have your own vehicle (reliable transportation) and be willing to drive to different properties

Must have an active Driver's License

Must be able to undergo a Background Check

Must have your own tools

 

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician:

Communicate with property manager

Drive from property to property

Complete punch list, figure out what needs to be done with units that have been vacated

Complete work orders

Check all lights and replace as necessary

Replace or repair windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, closet doors

Check applicable appliances and inform Manager of problems, if out of scope of ability

Assist in changing or removing appliances from apartment

Make keys when necessary

Check faucets sink plugs and repairs/replaces as necessary.

Replace washers when needed.

Perform exterior repairs to sinks, bathtubs, etc., when warranted

Prep and paint all vacant units

Repair or replace curtains, mini-blinds, ceiling fans, etc.

Repair plaster holes in walls, paints as necessary

Inspect bathroom tiles, perform minor repairs/replacements

Change A/C filters

All other maintenance tasks assigned by the property manager

 

Job Type: Contractor Pay: $22 - 24.00 per hour
