Provides administrative support and assistance to staff responsible for programs & events. Helps coordinate engagement activities, assist with program development, recruitment of participants and program evaluations, answers phone calls and emails.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Administrative duties for a variety of programs/events and services.

a. Logging contacts

b. Answering phone

c. Answering emails

d. Sending e-blasts

e. Updating/posting social media accounts

f. Develop program/event advertisements

2. Provides program/event information to callers.

3. Assists with registration of participates for events.

4. Develops and organizes events to encourage interest and participation.

5. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by program/event managers.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Skill in effective communications (both written and oral)

2. Skill in positive and flexible customer service

3. Skill at problem solving

4. Knowledge and competent in word and excel

5. Knowledge of general office procedures and practices.

6. Knowledge in Eventbrite and Canva helpful

7. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities.

8. Ability to implement office procedures.

9. Ability to follow instructions.

10. Ability to speak clearly and correctly and to listen effectively.

11. Ability to meet and maintain minimum production requirements for speed and accuracy

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED

· Associate’s degree in educational field, office management, or a closely related field of study preferred.
