Aegis is seeking a Quality Lab Lead/Supervisor for our client in the Chicagoland area. (60609) Please see qualifications below and apply if you meet them.

The Laboratory Lead/Supervisor manages the day-to-day operations in the Chemical and Physical Laboratories and is responsible for assuring all testing is performed in compliance with industry and customer standards in order certify product. He/she also trains and supervises the Lab Technicians. The Lab Supervisor has general duties within the Quality department.

Must Have’s:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • High school diploma required
  • Associates in Quality, Engineering or Technical field- this would be helpful but, not going to put a MUST on this one.
  • Work experience in mechanical testing laboratory
  • Knowledgeable in all types of chemical and physical testing of steel
  • Knowledgeable in CNC machining
  • Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail.- be able to all levels of communication
  • QMS experience- ISO standards for steel.
  • Strong background in Quality Assurance and Control preferred
  • Supervisory or managerial experience preferred
