Mechanical Assembler Pay:   $30-40/hour 

Mechanical Assembler Shift:  8am-4:30pm M-F (New Hope, MN)

Mechanical Assembler Job Overview:   The Mechanical Assembler & Field Service Technician will perform assembly of all mechanical and selected electrical components in building new and standard machinery. You will start with a large steel frame and a pallet of parts including motors, pumps, gears, wires and then, utilizing a CAD drawing, you will assembly this large industrial machine.  Additionally you will provide field service to customers including 25% travel.

Mechanical Assembler & Field Service Technician

Mechanical Assembler Key Requirements:

  • 3 years minimum of mechanical assembly experience building industrial machines including CAD experience (SolidWorks experience is a plus)
  • Skills to work independently:  You will start with a large steel frame and a pallet of parts including motors, pumps, gears, wires and then, utilizing a CAD drawing, you will assembly this large industrial machine.  
  • 25% travel to provide field support to customers (Domestic and possibly international travel)
  • Technical customer service experience with skills to work directly with large and demanding customers
  • Experience working in a team environment, being a good teammate

Mechanical Assembly Key Duties:

  • Working independently, you will start with a large steel frame and a pallet of parts including motors, pumps, gears, wires and then, utilizing a CAD drawing, you will assembly this large industrial machine.
  • Troubleshoot PLC, motor and operator interface programs. Debug machinery and perform testing of new products and applications
  • Customer Support:  Follow up service via phone, email and service of machinery at customer locations.  
  • 25% travel to provide field support to customers (Domestic and possibly international travel)
