Specific Requirements:

  • CA Professional Licensure for Land Surveying or a Land Surveyor in Training
  • LS license or LSIT minimum
  • Experience managing projects
  • Ability to manage a project team as well as multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong self-motivation and excellent communication skills
  • A working knowledge of conventional survey instrumentation, robotic total stations, GPS equipment and associated data collection applications is desired.

Land Survey Manager must be capable of independent judgment in scoping, costing, supervising and managing projects. Collaborate with principals, project managers, and clients to participate in project proposals and interviews as requested.

Ensures compliance to all applicable regulations and requirements including boundary calculations and surveying regulations and requirements. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in the field. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Leads and directs the work of others. Reports to the Director of Survey.
