Job Summary:

Fit City Kids is looking for a professional Front Desk Team Member to oversee all receptionist and secretarial duties at our main entrance’s desk. This is the first point of contact with clients at the facility and is responsible for performing essential front desk administrative duties including answering questions, directing phone calls, greeting customers, and processing class payments. We are looking for a candidate who is outgoing, team-oriented, and loves working with children of all ages and their families.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or relevant qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 years proven experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of office administration and basic bookkeeping practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Customer Relations Management software tools (JackRabbit preferred)
  • Familiarity with MS Office programs.

Job Duties:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide them with superb customer service.
  • Create a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
  • Help manage parent questions, inquiries and concerns.
  • Ensure guest registration, payment and check-in procedures are implemented daily.
  • Actively promote Fit City Kids programming to parents.
  • Assure the front desk is neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies such as pens, paper and updated forms.
  • Direct participants to the necessary space for class.
  • Answer all customer questions and incoming calls.
  • Redirect phone calls to the appropriate department or take down messages.
  • Monitor, organize and forward emails.
  • Accept all letters and packages and distribute them to the appropriate department.
