When launching your career, as a stylist, one of the top things to consider is the invaluable knowledge that you will learn behind the chair by experienced professionals, who will NOT look at you as competition, but actually teach you all the things you probably weren't taught in school  We will train our assistants to be the best of the best and make sure you not only learn these skills but then apply them to your daily salon life

Another great way to build your career is to get to know all of the Salon's clients, products, and front desk systems. Salon Milage has cutting edge technology to make the shop run smoothly and making scheduling appointments simple and convenient. Responsibilities for this position will also include front desk duties, such as checking in/out guests, entering product formulations, and selling retail products.  Experience with Booker is a huge plus

Compensation? We will pay you hourly plus tips This is a full time position to learn in an experienced shop, and no we don't just mean shampooing and sweeping all day. On top of the behind the scenes access to all of our services, we will train you to be a full time stylist as well so once you are fully trained and ready we will be able to give you a stylist position for you to be able to comfortably offer all of the services we provide. We are an established salon with many re-peat customers, however are we are also in a prime location for New Clients as well. We are in high demand for Balayage services and a stylist with this specialty skill set is a huge plus We prefer experience & proven track record of results, however, we'll consider a candidate looking to build a career and NOT a job. This position would be directly supporting and learning from a Level IV Stylist at our salon and is a fantastic opportunity to Super Charge your career by learning from a Top Stylist.

Our philosophy is to always encourage improvement and for our team to stay informed on latest techniques. Currently we feature unique services in the area and plan on continuing to be a leader in the industry. Our atmosphere is relaxed and our team works well together to make our clients happy and pleased with all our services. Our reputation online is fabulous and also leads to many new clients.

Must Haves

At Salon Milage, we are currently seeking PASSION that will compliment our diverse team. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years experience and a client base. We are however willing to train the right match and help build your business. An example, is a stylist that demonstrates the passion to learn and improve, outgoing/friendly personality, and an ability to perform multi tasks of the business, including front desk responsibilities and product sales.
A clear understanding of your strengths and weaknesses. Along with this a desire to improve.
Identify services that you would like to build your career upon and self knowledge of what makes you the most productive.
Being a team player and the ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
