Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an LPN or CMA to join our team The ideal candidate will have experience in newborn and adolescent patient care, including administering immunizations, and be comfortable working as part of a team.

​Responsibilities:

  • Obtain detailed patient history and document in the electronic medical record
  • Accurately draw up and administer vaccines for infants - young adults
  • Obtain and record vitals on each patient
  • Perform hearing and vision tests
  • Educate parents on a variety of topics including immunizations, asthma, feeding, and symptom management for common pediatric illnesses.
  • Review patient records for immunizations and well visit status, and specific health issues
  • Update patient immunization records in Florida Shots
  • Schedule specialists appointments and complete referrals
  • Order tests as instructed by providers
  • Follow-up on referrals, tests, and labs to ensure compliance.
  • Administer fluoride treatments
  • Provide nebulizer and other breathing treatments
  • Complete school and sports forms
  • Triage patients calls

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Pediatric setting
  • Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
  • Current CPR card
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
