General Production Laborer Responsibilities:

  • Tend one or more machines and performs any combination of following duties involving binding books, magazines, etc.
  • Punch holes in sheets using punch press
  • Feed sheets into various machines for stitching, folding, and binding
  • Remove, stack and pack printed material in various stages of completion as they accumulate on the delivery table of the machine
  • Examine stitched or bound material to assure that pages or signatures are bound in numerical order according to job ticket
  • Examine for defects such as ink spots, torn or loose and uneven pages
  • Insert illustrated pages or extra sheets into catalogs or directories by machine

Work Hours Available:

  • 1st Shift - 6am - 2pm, Monday to Friday
  • 2nd shift - 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday - eligible for $3.00 shift differential
  • 3rd shift - 10pm - 6am, Sunday to Thursday - eligible for $3.00 shift differential

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing environment experience
  • Pass math and ruler test
  • Pass problem-solving test
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Wage: $17-$20
