Key Responsibilities:

1. Menu Execution: Execute the Chef Owner’s menu, ensuring all dishes meet high standards of quality and innovation. Maintain consistency in presentation throughout service.

2. Culinary Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in hot line, cold line, and other kitchen stations. Cook dishes to perfection, following precise instructions.

3. Quality Control: Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients and prepared dishes, ensuring top-notch culinary standards.

4. Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen, adhering to sanitation, health, and safety regulations.

5. Inventory Management: Assist in inventory management and procurement of supplies. Ensure efficient use of ingredients and minimize waste.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with the Chef Owner and culinary team to enhance dining experiences and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or relevant role in a fine dining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
  • Food Manager Certification.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
