LEAD Technical has partnered with a manufacturer in Noblesville, IN and we are searching for an Industrial Maintenance Technician, on a full-time, direct-hire basis with excellent benefits for the 2nd shift.  The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with some electrical experience in industrial maintenance, particularly in a manufacturing setting, and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production machinery and equipment, responsible for repairing machinery, operating plant support equipment, and implementing preventative maintenance (PM) strategies. Ideal candidates will possess 3 to 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical skills, some electrical experience, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Essential Job Functions:
  • Diagnose and repair machines and equipment, dismantling as necessary to gain access to defective parts. 
  • Making the necessary adjustments to ensure efficient or proper operation.
  • Operate and repair plant support machinery, boilers, softeners, compressors etc.
  • Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
  • General industrial maintenance duties to include hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, gauges, compressors, and pumps.
  • General knowledge of metalworking, including cutting, fabricating, and welding processes such as stick, Mig, and Tig welding, including the ability to weld stainless steel.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and schematics for installation and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in operating and understanding diagnostic equipment such as meters and gauges.
  • Willingness to learn and understand all plant operations, including production equipment and safety equipment (e.g., fire pump and sprinkler systems).
 Experience and Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of industrial manufacturing experience.
  • Proven experience as a mechanical maintenance technician in an industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
