Full time – Monday through Friday
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager of Pharmacy to lead our pharmacy department in a rural hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to serving the healthcare needs of our community.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations to ensure efficient and effective medication management.
- Supervise and support a team of pharmacy staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations.
- Oversee inventory management and procurement of medications.
- Reviews and interprets prescriptions issued by physicians or other authorized prescribed to assure accuracy and appropriateness.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Arizona.
- Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience in a rural healthcare setting is a plus.
