Boomerang Title is seeking a Closing Coordinator for our Refinance department. The Closing Coordinator’s responsibilities include communicating directly with clients and attorneys; facilitating CD collaboration; receiving, preparing, reviewing, and sending final loan documents to the closing attorney/agent. Hours are 11am to 8pm, with some Saturday work required.

DUTIES

  • Communicate with clients regarding deadlines and the estimated time of delivery for final closing documents
  • Review final loan documents and send them to the closing attorney
  • Ensure that the closing attorney is engaged to fulfill closing at the time of document delivery
  • Prepare the final ALTA settlement statement
  • Willingly perform other duties as assigned or requested

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Industry experience preferred but not required
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

SKILLS

  • Microsoft skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and other online experience a must
  • At least 50 wpm typing speed
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational/prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently, yet recognize when assistance is needed
  • Willingness to assist others
