The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and one-on-oneinteraction with assigned customers. Customer satisfaction is a priority which requires theAccount Managers serve in a variety of different roles, often needing to adjust their focusdepending on the client’s particular situation. The Account Manager frequently serves as acombination of a salesperson, customer service representative, technical specialist, andfinancial advisor.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Client Relationship Management Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients utilizing generator services.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.Technical ExpertiseDevelop a deep understanding of the generator services offered by the company.Provide clients with technical insights and expertise related to generator maintenance, repair, and performance.Account Planning Create strategic account plans to align with client needs and business objectives.Identify opportunities for improving generator efficiency and reliability withinclient operations.Preventive Maintenance Scheduling Collaborate with clients to schedule and plan preventive maintenance for theirgenerators.Ensure that maintenance activities align with client production schedules to minimize downtime.Emergency Response Coordination Develop and implement emergency response plans for generator failures orbreakdowns.Coordinate rapid response teams to address critical issues and minimize servicedisruptions.Product TrainingProvide clients with training on the proper operation and maintenance ofgenerator systems.Keep clients informed about new features or upgrades to enhance theirgenerator’s performance. Contract Negotiation and RenewalNegotiate service contracts with clients, outlining terms for maintenance,repairs, and emergency services.Facilitate contract renewals, ensuring the ongoing satisfaction of clients.Performing Monitoring Implement monitoring systems to track the performance of client generators,Analyze data to identify trends and proactively address potential issues. Parts and Inventory Management Work closely with clients to manage spare parts inventory for their generators. Ensure that critical components are readily available to minimize downtime.• Regulatory Compliance Stay informed about industry regulations related to generator services. Ensure that client generators comply with relevant standards and regulations.• Cost ManagementCollaborate with clients to manage service costs effectively. Provide cost-benefit analysis for recommended upgrades or improvements.• Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of service activities and client communications. Provide regular reports to clients on the status of their generators and serviceperformance.• Customer EducationEducate clients on industry best practices and emerging trends in generator services. Offer insights to help clients optimize the lifespan and performance of theirgenerator systems.• Continuous ImprovementSeek feedback from clients and use it to drive continuous improvement in service delivery. Identify opportunities for innovation and introduction of new services.REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:• Bachelor or Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience with 3-5 yearsworking in an Account Manager role.• Technical knowledge.• Empathetic and active listener.• Strategic and tactical thinker.• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.• Proficiency in time management.• Computer skills to include use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Email.• Able to adapt to rapidly changing situations adjusting initiatives and prioritiesaccordingly.• Proficient at follow through with customers.YOU MUST BE LEGAL TO WORK IN THE USA
