Medical Assistant - Pediatrics

  • $17-21/hr DOE
  • Looking for someone that is interested in Pediatrics
  • Monday 8am - 6pm, Tuesday - Thursday 8am - 4:30pm
  • Rotating Saturdays East Hartford 8am - 2pm with day off during week to offset
  • Supporting a new provider 1:1
  • Start: 6/10/24

Requirements:

  • MA diploma
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen (marijuana included)
  • COVID vaccine (Fully vaccinated)

Responsibilities:

  • Rooming patients, taking in health status (and vitals) and recording in electronic health records (we use E Clinical Works), helping process referrals to other offices/resources (there are a lot of tasks or what we call telephone encounters) that the MA must process such as following up on a referral to another provider or facility.
