Job and Responsibilities
We are seeking School Psychologists for a school district located in Prairie Grove/Crystal Lake IL. Both full and part time hours available. This is an in-person position.
The School Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling and mental health support to students, collaborating with school staff and parents, and implementing intervention strategies. The role also includes participating in IEP meetings, writing reports, and monitoring students' progress.
- Full and Part-TIme Hours Available
- 8:15 - 3:30 staff hours
- August 12, 2024 start date for training, school start August 21st
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- NASP License (preferred but not required)
- State License as a School Psychologist
- 2+ years of experience (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of Counseling and Psychological Assessment
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in use of technology
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents while demonstrating a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
