Job Responsibilities:

  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform skilled inspections, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on heavy trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment.
  • Documentation: Complete service-related documents electronically within our system.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct inspections to ensure timely maintenance.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment by cleaning the work vehicle and area, meeting all company, governmental, and equipment safety requirements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the oil & gas industry and experience working around heavy equipment is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Read and interpret specifications and manuals.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with vendors, supervisors, and co-workers.
  • Tools: Must have own hand tools.
  • Computer Knowledge: Proficient in using computer systems to manage and complete service orders efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a heavy equipment/diesel technician.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift, push/pull, and move up to 70 pounds.
  • Additional Skills: Crane and welding experience is a plus.
  • Licenses: Valid US Driver's License (CDL is a plus) and must maintain a satisfactory driving record.

Working Conditions:

  • Locations: In-shop, on-site at customers' locations, and service call breakdowns.
  • Physical Activity: Moderate physical activity and manual dexterity required.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Driver's License: Valid US Driver's License (CDL is a plus)
  • Driving Record: Must maintain a satisfactory driving record
