Summary:

The Associate Manager, Product Marketing is a key driver of comprehensive product marketing initiatives at EpiCypher®. The position works with our Senior Marketing Manager to drive our marketing efforts for new and existing products / technologies / services to the epigenetics and chromatin biology research community.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of product marketing (go-to-market and product life cycle marketing) to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
  • Manage conceptualizing, executing, and expanding marketing campaigns across multiple channels to drive lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Firm grasp of complete scientific concepts and technical information with ability to translate into compelling marketing messaging and perform market research in collaboration with Products & Applications Group.
  • Responsible for creating and refreshing product marketing materials (brochures, web content, videos, etc.) with ability to ensure consistency with brand guidelines, scientific accuracy, and messaging standards.
  • Coordinate cross-departmentally, facilitating communication, collaboration, and alignment on product marketing strategies, priorities, and timelines.
  • Contribute to, review, and communicate new product announcements and supporting materials to international distributors.
  • Monitor and report marketing efforts with international distributors, including product launch efforts, general marketing activities, webinars, conference presence, etc.
  • Attend regular company and cross-functional team meetings and independently prepare and present updates as scheduled.

Credentials and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s with minimum of five years or Master’s with minimum of three years of proven experience in product marketing within the life sciences field.
  • Preference given to candidates with background or training in genetics or epigenetics.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Understanding of epigenetics and molecular biology concepts with ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to craft compelling marketing messages and materials.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timely execution of deliverables.
  • Must be highly motivated and detail oriented.
  • Able to work equally well as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Able to work toward specific goals under minimal supervision.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of the Associate Manager, Product Marketing position, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods as well as move about inside their office and when necessary, during business travel. The employee must be able to operate a computer and necessary office equipment. The employee must be able to position self to transport objects and boxes weighing up to 30 pounds throughout the workday.
