Minimum requirements a candidate must meet

Prior experience developing ZK proving systems and/or zkVMs

Very strong mathematical and cryptography background and deep knowledge of different proof system families (especially STARKs/FRI)

At least basic familiarity with Rust and/or another programming language used in implementation of new ZK proving systems

Familiarity with optimized systems programming and VMs

Degree or coursework in Math or CS from a top-tier university

2+ years of experience For candidates with less experience, they should have an extremely strong background in math contests or competition programming (or otherwise shown signs of technical excellence).

We don't care much about years of experience as much as experience with relevant work in cryptography OR extremely strong raw intellectual and technical horsepower.
