Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in pediatric therapy, with a strong background in treating children with a wide range of developmental delays, sensory issues, disabilities, and disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care abilities, and overall functional independence.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
  • Provide education and support to families regarding therapeutic strategies, home exercises, and adaptive equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain supervision requirements weekly
Qualifications:
  • Current state OTA license
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in treating children with various diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, and developmental delays.
  • Proficiency in analyzing standardized assessment results.
  • Strong collaboration skills with OT supervisor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Dedication to providing family-centered care and advocating for the needs of children and their families.
  • Drive to grow, learn, and possibly mentor future COTAs.
