Position Overview

As the Calibration, Asset Management, and Quality Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient calibration of equipment, effective management of assets, and maintenance of quality assurance processes to uphold quality standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.

Key Job Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain calibration procedures for a wide range of equipment, instruments, and tools
  • Coordinate and liaise with external calibration service provider in the scheduling of calibration activities, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Establish and maintain an asset management system to track the organization's equipment. Coordinate asset procurement, disposal, and relocation activities as needed
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify the accuracy and condition of assets and ensure compliance with asset management protocols
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Conduct internal audits and inspections to assess compliance
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics and trends to identify opportunities for enhancing quality performance and operational efficiency
  • Ensure all calibration, asset management, and quality assurance-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as calibration procedures, asset inventory lists, quality manuals, and audit reports
  • Ensure compliance with document control procedures and regulatory requirements for record keeping and retention
  • Develop training materials, provide training and support to staff members on calibration procedures, asset management practices, and quality assurance protocols
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization
  • Promote teamwork mentality, help maintain a clean, friendly, respectful and safe work space

Requirements:

  • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 5 years or more of testing experience in vibration, thermal and isolation resistance
  • Strong understanding and proven experience in calibration management, asset management, and quality assurance roles as well as related software preferred. Relevant certifications desirable
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards relevant to calibration, asset management, and quality assurance (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 17025, FDA regulations)
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and compliance
