Welder III

We are seeking an experienced Welder III for a leading designer and manufacturer of custom machinery for a food production company located in Pomona, CA.

You will earn $24 - $28 an hour, depending on your experience and work the day shift.

As a Welder III, you will be responsible completes projects with little or no supervision and performs a variety of welding processes using electric resistance, oxyacetylene or plasma-arc torches. You will also be expected to:

  • May give work assignments and provide guidance to other Welder staff as assigned
  • Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as TIG and MIG
  • Welders may specialize in certain types of welding such as custom fabrication, welding, structural construction welding, or production welding
  • Use electric/air tools and power tools as required
  • Scan all jobs through the Made2Manage (M2M) system

To qualify for this Welder III role, you must have a welding background and have a high school diploma or equivalent work experience. We also require:

  • Must have knowledge of TIG with some MIG
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
  • Use of electric and air tools
  • Works with Stainless Steel, Sheet Metal
  • Able to work with 16-18 gauge material. Good with structural welding from ½” to 6”. Fluxcore is a plus
  • Will be given a Welding Test on TIG, MIG & Structural
