We have an immediate need for a contract HR Business Partner for an open ended contract position at our Chaska, MN corporate headquarters.  

The shift is Monday - Friday and the hours are flexible as long as the core hours of 9 am - 3 pm are covered.

The pay range is in the $38 - $42/hr. range depending on experience.

Overview:

Full cycle recruiting, employee relations, leave coordination, performance management, employee development and development of company policies and practices.
 
Duties Include:

  • Full-cycle recruiting includes job posting, screening, interview coordination, background checks and on-boarding and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
  • Works with managers on corrective action issues, support documentation and communication
  • Works with managers on performance management and individual development plans
  • Schedules and conducts exit interviews for voluntary terminations
  • Maintains HR metrics
  • Provides data for wage surveys and maintains database of benchmarked job descriptions
  • Manage Unemployment Claims

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of related generalist level work experience including employee relations and recruiting
  • Experience in a multishift manufacturing environment, preferably a regulated industry
  • PHR/SPHR a plus

Must be able to pass criminal background check.
