- Month-end close: bank reconciliation, journal entries, preparation of supporting schedules
- Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
- T&E Reconciliation and studio billing
- Handle ad hoc requests and projects
- Maintaining weekly project coding of new releases in the ERP system
- Review royalty terms of artist and third-party agreements and verify that the terms have been properly set up within the Royalties System
- Responsible for all royalties processing which includes ensuring the accuracy of reporting and the prompt processing of monies both payable and receivable
- Reconcile various third-party liability account balances on the Royalty Ledger to the General Ledger
- Clear suspense and pending/unmatched items within the Royalties System
- Prepare accurate and timely royalty statements that comply with contractual obligations and ensure that all costs, artist advances, and royalty calculations are valid
- 2-5 years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Music industry experience
- NetSuite experience
- Royalties Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
