We are seeking a Route Manager/Sales Representative to join our team. Position is responsible for delivering, displaying, ordering, and selling company product lines (tortillas) to major grocery stores in Walton County, FL in accordance with company merchandising standards and customer expectations. As Route Manager/Sales Representative you will have direct interaction with retail customers such as store managers, receiving personnel and other associates. We are looking for individuals who strive to provide 100% customer satisfaction. This is the perfect position for the early riser who enjoys thier free time in the afternoons.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds 
  • Organizational skills and time management
  • Customer service
  • Must be able to work alone/without direct supervision 
  • *Route experience is a plus but not required, training provided
  • Transportation to and from designated truck location

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery and distribution of product to grocery stores along a designated route while meeting proper safety standards
  • Manage weekly sales and inventory to meet sales goals
  • Load trailer at warehouse each day with correct product depending on customers/stop schedule for that day
  • Create product invoices on provided handheld computer
  • Check product into stores
  • Ensure shelves are stocked with fresh product to meet company and customer standards
  • Utilize shelf space to maximize sales
  • Keep work documents/invoices organized
  • Prepare all supplier-owned items for return to supplier
  • Maintain relationships and uphold excellent customer service
  • Communicate all issues, in-store and out of store to the proper people

Schedule:

  • Typical day starts (in company truck) at 04:30 and usually done by 12:00 noon each day
  • 4-6 days per week
  • 3-5 deliveries per day

Experience:

  • Grocery and/or route experience preferred but training will be provided
