Bergen County, NJ
$80-85K DOE, Bonus, Perks, Outstanding Benefits Package

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all General Accounting functions and budgets for multiple corporate entities.
  • Perform corporate bank account reconciliations and present them to Executive Management.
  • Post and maintain Journal Entries and review financial statements, providing detailed analyses to Executive Management.
  • Manage the recording of all corporate banking transactions and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare documents and assist external accountants with audits and bank-related audits.

Process monthly sales commission calculations and submit them to Department Managers.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year university.
  • 5+ years of General Accounting experience.
  • Previous experience in a multi-entity corporate setting; experience in the apparel industry is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in GL Accounting, Journal Entry, month-end close, and balance sheet analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and within a team.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities with consistent accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience with intercompany transactions.
  • Prior experience with Accounting software implementation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Dyn GP, and/or other ERP software programs.
