Hawthorn Senior Living currently has an immediate opportunity at our Vancouver, Washington home office for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist. This is an entry level position with on-the-job training provided. This position is a great starting point for someone looking to begin their accounts payable, or accounting career.

Hawthorn Senior Living is a rapidly growing senior housing company, managing independent living communities throughout the United States.

In this role, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable requests for Hawthorn Senior Living and related business entities in a professional, accurate and timely manner.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or equivalent is required.

· Entry level (1-5 years related experience preferred).

· Proficient problem-solving skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet departmental deadlines.

· Attentive to detail and possess good organizational skills.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Strong data entry skills; basic bookkeeping and familiarity of word processing and spreadsheet computer programs.

· Ability to operate 10-key by touch.

· Willingness to work as part of a team.
