Responsibilities:

  • Provide electrical engineering services to the Plate Mill department.
  • Support production, maintenance, and engineering.
  • Coordinate all phases of electrical engineering projects from concept to project closure.
  • Lead and participate in problem-solving efforts.
  • Analyze process issues using PI Vision and Data Link.
  • Develop electrical control solutions for process improvements and equipment reliability.
  • Assist production and maintenance with equipment and process issues.
  • Redesign and upgrade PLC/HMI and controls for existing processes.
  • Install and troubleshoot camera systems on industrial equipment.
  • Mentor employees as needed.
  • Provide off-hours support as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as an electrical engineer.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
  • U.S. person status as per ITAR requirements (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience in a manufacturing facility.
  • 5 years of experience with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives & motors, and measuring devices.
  • Proficiency with Rockwell programming software (RS Logix and FactoryView).
  • 3 years or more of experience in leading electrical projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project programs.
