Automotive Reconditioning Technician

Duties:
- Punctuality, dependability, cooperation and the ability to take direction.
- Examine all makes and models of vehicles to determine if additional work is needed based on safety and preventive maintenance.
- Close communication with Service Manager.
- Meet production standards as set by management
- Drive all vehicles in a safe manner. Keep vehicles clean, no smoking, or eating.
- Operate all tools and machinery in a safe manner.
- Understand and keep abreast of federal, state and local regulations.
- Keep work area clean and neat.
- Other duties assigned by management.
- Automotive reconditioning technicians are responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repair of used vehicles acquired by the dealership for resale.
- ASE certification preferred but not required. Valid Driver's license, with a driving record acceptable by our insurance company.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use in-house computer systems
- Must be able to use both hands, bend, stoop, and twist on a regular basis.
- Must provide own tools.
