QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a dependable, self-starter with high attention to detail, have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn; problem solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment; ability to follow instructions & work independently or as a member of a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and operate various pieces of forming equipment, which will produce parts for assembly
  • Configure bend allowances for sheet metal
  • Evaluate, determine root causes, and take corrective action to ensure product quality
  • Locate material and verify grade, size, and quantity by visual inspection and measurement techniques
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Actively support continuous improvement processes and initiatives
  • Utilize various types of measuring devices to produce products and components
  • Utilize current standards to ensure customer satisfaction of product output
  • Adhere to all safety and quality procedures

An employee in this position must follow safe work practices & safety rules at all times. Monitors own work to ensure quality. Must be able to multi-task & plan daily work efficiently; set up and parts and bending metal or materials. Must be able to set specifications; prepare metal surfaces by cleaning with proper compounds and wire brushes to remove impurities, measuring equipment with accuracy to meet customer requirements; recording measurements, keeping a safe and clean workspace. Maintaining product output while maintaining quality requirements.

Hours:

1st: 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday

2nd: 3:30pm to 2:00am Monday through Thursday

Overtime is AVAILABLE
