We are seeking a Medical Assistant Front Office to become a part of our team You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
  • Scheduling new patient and follow up appointment
  • Obtain patient ID and insurance information
  • Collect co-pays and deductibles at time of visit
  • Run insurance eligibility at time of check in using EHR system
  • Check patient's in and out using EHR system
  • Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
  • Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
  • Escort patients to exam rooms as needed to assist Back Office MA
  • Answer phones and respond to patient messages, fax communications - sort and send as needed
  • Lobby, front office, and bathroom cleaning, sanitizing and stocking

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
  • Familiarity with medical billing procedures
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer and internet skills
  • Friendly, communicative, timely, reliable, looking for long term situation
