Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. This individual will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and Processing:

    • Unload and unpack incoming shipments.
    • Inspect goods for defects and damages.
    • Verify the accuracy of received orders.
    • Ensure proper labeling and storage of products.

  • Order Fulfillment:

    • Pick and pack products according to order specifications.
    • Prepare items for shipment, ensuring accurate labeling and packaging.
    • Use warehouse management systems to track and manage inventory levels.

  • Inventory Management:

    • Maintain accurate inventory records.
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations.
    • Organize warehouse space to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of goods.
    • Report any discrepancies or issues to the Warehouse Manager.

  • General Warehouse Duties:

    • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment:

  • The role involves regular physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • The warehouse environment can vary in temperature and may be subject to noise and other working conditions typical of a warehouse setting.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly wage: $25 - $30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Annual bonus based on company performance and individual contribution.
  • $100 medical stipend in each paycheck, based on performance.
