We are looking for an Account Representative to join our team. Account Representatives will primarily assist and support the office to develop and increase profitable volume with existing and newly acquired customers.


You Will:

  • Work with Account Manager to develop and increase profitable volume with existing and newly acquired customers

  • Build relationships with existing and new accounts.

  • Have specific knowledge regarding product compatibility and shipping requirements for dry loads and temperature requirements and maintenance when handling refrigerated loads.

  • Determine optimal loading and delivery patterns and times using their own creativity in order to minimize time and miles traveled with regards to the customer, advising if a load is manageable.

  • Update active load information into system for shipper and carrier tracking



Skills and Experience

  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in Freight Brokerage/customer service is a plus

  • Excellent and effective communication skills

  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic

  • Ability to quickly process information and make decisions

  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills, and ability to handle conflict

  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
