Telephonic Triage EMT/Paramedic
1Source is looking for a full-time Telephonic Triage EMT/Paramedic to join our team This role will be responsible for triaging employee incidents and determining the appropriate course of treatment for an injured worker. This person will assist with first aid management of employee workers compensation incidents and coordinating employee access to healthcare services when appropriate. This role involves working closely with employees, employers, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to facilitate seamless access to care and optimize employee outcomes. On call rotations are required on an as-needed basis.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Determine employee needs and eligibility for services and ensure case is progressing appropriately
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing their questions and concerns regarding their care and access to services.
- Monitor and track employee progress, ensuring adherence to care plans and timely follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee interactions, care plans, and outcomes.
- Work closely with employees, employers and other members of the collaborative team to ensure effective management and employee compliance to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Job Qualifications:
Education/Employment:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current and valid EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate, or Paramedic certification in Indiana.
- For EMTs: Completion of an accredited EMT training program; for Paramedics: Completion of an accredited Paramedic training program and certification
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in emergency medical services
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
