Job Description:

Our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of integrally reinforced branch connection fittings to the power, oil and gas, chemical, and other industries, is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Quality personnel, including QA Engineers, Document Control Clerk, QC Inspectors, and NDE personnel.
  • Ensure products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system and customer requirements.
  • Resolve quality issues relative to products, processes, customer complaints, and quality system requirements.
  • Identify training needs and organize training to meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers.
  • Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Monitor risk management activities.
  • Responsible for document management systems including the preparation and revision of policies and procedures for the Quality Management System.
  • Monitor, record, and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
  • Prepare and distribute reports to communicate performance and issues to other
  • departments and management.
  • Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventative actions.
  • Participate in organizational meetings on quality related issues.
  • Establish and maintain a calibration program.

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, or Quality Assurance and 3+ year’s experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Type: Full-time
