Job Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting for assigned books, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the general ledger and timely period closes.
- Create, reconcile, and validate entries to balance sheet and income statement accounts for monthly or quarterly closes.
- Prepare consolidation entries, including eliminations, profit and loss pickups, and non-controlling interest allocations.
- Maintain bank accounts, monitor cash balances, record cash activities, and prepare bank reconciliations.
- Prepare wire requests related to financing, acquisitions, funding reserves, and expense payments.
- Assist with fund-level contributions, distributions, redemption calculations, summaries, and notices.
- Assist with schedules for real estate investments and debt valuations, prepare fair value entries, and support cost and debt rollforwards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related filed
- 5+ years in accounting experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel) and accounting software's
Experience:
- Extensive experience in full-cycle accounting and fund accounting
- Expertise in financial statement preparation
- Effective communication to communicate financial strategies to company executives.
