CONVENTION APPRENTICES

APPLICATION PERIOD: The So. NV Teamsters 631 Convention Training Trust will accept applications online and in person for 10 days from June 24, 2024, to July 8, 2024 (excluding weekends and July 4th). Apprenticeship applications will be available at our office, located at 4490 Nexus Way, Suite 102, Las Vegas, NV 89115 during the hours of 7am – 4pm. Applications are also available online at www.631train.com, online applications must be downloaded and printed. Completed applications will only be accepted in person June 24, 2024, to July 8th, 2024 between 7am – 4pm. Only completed applications with COPIES of the required documents will be accepted.

v Copy of Valid Government Issued ID

v Copy of High School Diploma or Equivalent

v Copy of Transcripts

v Copy of valid trade related certifications if applicable

v Copy of trade related experience if applicable

Applicants Must:

· Applicants must be at least 17 1/2 years of age.

· Take a New Entrant Exam.

· Obtain 65 points (pre-points and exam) to participate in an Oral Interview.

At time of selection, Applicants:

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· Must be physically able to perform all work of the trade.

· Must pass a drug test prior to acceptance.

· Must complete a performance based “Boot Camp” upon offer of indentureship.
