Security Director:
The Security Director at NPK Hospitality is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the organization's overall security strategy, policies, and procedures at all of our venue locations. 

Down below are the different venues, festivals, and restaurants that we own and operate:

Job Summary:
The Security Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive security programs to ensure the safety and security of the organization, its employees, assets, and visitors. This role involves assessing security risks, developing security policies and procedures, managing security personnel, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to mitigate security threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard the organization's physical and intellectual assets.
  2. Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks, and develop strategies to address them.
  3. Manage security operations, including access control systems, CCTV surveillance, alarm systems, and security patrols.
  4. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
  5. Lead investigations into security breaches, thefts, and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  6. Develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills to ensure preparedness for various security threats.
  7. Stay informed about emerging security threats and technologies, and recommend updates to security systems and protocols.
  8. Manage security budget, including procurement of security equipment and services, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  9. Recruit, train, and supervise security personnel, including security guards, supervisors, and contractors.
  10. Maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies, security vendors, and industry peers to share information and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience in security management, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Experience in conducting security risk assessments and developing security strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in security management software and systems.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional, Certified Information Security Manager) preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to security incidents outside of regular business hours.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform security patrols and respond to emergencies.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
