Hourly Rate: $25-$30 per hour (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and data entry? We are currently seeking a skilled Accountant / Data Entry Personnel to join our team on a full-time temporary to permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing data entry tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Prepare and process invoices and expense reports
- Assist with payroll processing as needed
- Generate financial reports and assist with month-end close activities
- Provide support to the accounting team as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in accounting or data entry roles required
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field helpful but not required
