Kids at Heart is looking to hire a Pre-K Teacher to join our wonderful team The work schedule is 8am-5pm (M-F) with a 1 hour lunch break. This teacher will work with students from when they turn 4 years old until they graduate to Kindergarten. The class size is 20 students and there is a co-teacher who will be your equal partner in the room.

Our center is located at 97th and Metcalf in Overland Park. We provide a happy and supportive environment for teachers and offer medical, dental, vision and 401K benefits to all of our full-time employees Kids at Heart will pay 50% of your medical, dental and vision insurance and match up to 3% of your 401K contributions (free money). Additionally, paid vacation and sick days are offered to our employees.

All staff will be expected to abide by the Kansas Licensing Regulations for Child Care Centers.

Candidates should:
- Love children
- Be patient and understanding
- Be able to lift toddlers, to best care for them
- Be energetic
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Maintain safety of children, at all times
- Be able to create a fun, educational and welcoming environment
- Be able to prepare and follow lesson plans
- Be able to prepare children for their next stage of development
- Be able to work well with others; and,
- Be able to communicate with parents professionally, on a daily basis

Experience Required:
- Preschool teaching experience preferred
