We are seeking a Credit Analyst in our St. Louis office for our accounting department.  In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing credit and financial reports to determine risk involved in extending credit.  You’ll also be responsible for the collection of a high volume of member and vendor accounts located in both the US and Canada contacting accounts to resolve past due balances, account discrepancies and resolving related issues and disputes for multiple divisions of CCA Global Partners.  Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and has a B2B collections background with a customer centric focus.

Our Credit Analyst will:
 
  • Analyze credit data and financial statements of new applicants and existing accounts to determine the risk involved in extending short- and long-term credit or lending funds.  Input and provide management with financial analysis via computer scorecard modeling, including comparison of financial rations such as liquidity, profitability, debt to equity, as well as analysis of credit histories of individuals or companies to determine risk.
 
  • Collect delinquent accounts via phone, and email, and establish relationships with members to receive payments on the amounts in question. Evaluate customer records and recommend payment plans based on earnings, payment history and purchase activity and review individual or commercial account files to identify and coordinate with management to determine if accounts should be submitted for collection with third party agencies or legal pursuit.
 
  • Oversee credit lines and credit holds which involves collecting and reviewing credit reports (D&B), financial statements, and Trade and Bank references in determining appropriate credit lines for existing accounts.
 
  • Prepare monthly delinquency reports and involve management on major issues.
 
  • Communicate effectively with members to resolve outstanding issues, process rebate deductions quarterly, prepare A/R deductions for specific past due balances, and update new accounts and make changes to existing accounts.

Do our requirements match YOUR background?
  • High school diploma (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance is preferred) with 5-7 years’ B2B collections experience and 2-3 years’ credit analysis experience. 
  • Excellent quantitative, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with the analysis of credit and collections techniques.
  • Possess proactive and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Industry experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal relationship skills, and the ability to work as a team member of a goal-oriented department.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, and Outlook).
