Come join our busy and growing dental office in one of our 4 locations Keep MI Smile currently has locations in Athens, Coldwater, Sturgis, and Three Rivers. We are looking for a Hygienist to add to our Athens team within the next couple of weeks for a full or part time position.

The ideal candidate would be able to provide excellent patient care, have strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, organization skills, and a positive upbeat personality. As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. If you have a steady hand and great bedside manner, we’d love to meet you

Work days would be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays. Hours can be discussed upon interview

Weekends and holidays off

Some of your responsibilities would include:

· Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before, during, and after their examination

· Sterilize dental instruments

· Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history

· Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis

· Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g., remove plaque or apply fluoride)

· Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care

· Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures

· Take X-rays and be able to take some dental impressions

· Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases and treatment plans

· Maintain and update charts on each patient after every appointment

· Be reliable and on time
