Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for evaluating each piece of technology that comes into the store
  • Identify and test a wide range of consumer electronics like Macbooks, iPads, iPhones, gaming consoles, etc from our customers
  • Determine pricing for a wide range of electronics from smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems and more through our software, and referencing additional resources provided
  • Negotiate with customers to secure buys
  • List items for sale using proprietary software
  • Package and ship items that have sold

Whatever your tech passion, PayMore will provide the environment to quench even the biggest thirst. You will be responsible for evaluating each piece of technology that comes into the store. Once you have collected all the important information about the device you will enter the information into our system, that’s it, very simple and low stress. Our team has lots of fun seeing the different tech that comes in

 

Qualifications:

**Experience building and using gaming PC's is a major +++++++**

• Must be able to type quickly and accurately

• Accuracy is paramount as you will be entering in final records of purchases and sales

• Must have excellent electronics knowledge and handling of smartphones, tablets, laptops, game systems – e.g. data wiping smartphones, removing iCloud accounts, testing game systems, Windows use, MacOS use, being able to quickly identify, test, and assess a wide variety of consumer electronics while communicating with customers in a high paced environment

• Must be a people person, ability to befriend, relate, and build relationships with all types of customers

• Ability to remain focused in a high volume/fast paced environment

• Ability to adapt from customer to customer, situation to situation

• Must be able to follow protocol and procedures

• Must be well spoken (English) Bilingual Spanish a major plus

• Understanding of eBay and basic use as a reference/search tool

• Basic use of excel

• Must be able to remain on your feet for hours at a time

• Ability to lift 25lb items

• You must pass a typing and general aptitude test to be considered for employment

 

Junior Buyer Compensation:

• Hourly pay: $16/hr with growth potential

• Hours - Store hours are Mon-Fri 10am-6pm, Sat 11am-5pm and closed Sundays. Saturdays are required for this role. Will require two full days and one partial day during the week - can be flexible on which days. 

Job Type: Part Time

Expected hours: 25 per week
