Job Title: Pharmacist In Charge - Full time position

Location: Elizabethtown, KY

Any US Licensed Pharmacist is encouraged to Apply. We are open to considering candidates willing to relocate and obtain a Kentucky license.
 

#### Responsibilities:

- Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration.

- Ensure medications are correctly supplied and labeled.

- Recommend therapy changes to physicians and client facilities staff.

- Maintain a customer database including medical history, clinical, and laboratory data.

- Investigate and resolve medication-related queries.

- Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare team members regarding medication-related queries.

- Supervise medication preparation.

- Maintain a register of controlled drugs for legal and stock control purposes.

- Maintain security conditions for medications.

- Perform “on-call” duties when required.

 

#### Qualifications:

- Licensed Pharmacist in Charge in the State of KY.

- 5-10 years of experience in Hospital and Retail pharmacy or other medical fields.

- Long Term Care experience preferred.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Strong organizational skills.

- Computer skills.
